How could community collaboration, local initiatives, placemaking technologies and public space events enable a new town centre and redefine the local high street?

Locals’ visions of their town’s future take shape and form on Future Huyton – an ongoing research community project. The project weaves together fictional stories, illustrations, and voice-over narrations spread through different media, including Augmented Reality (AR) interventions located in Huyton Village.

• Download the 'Knowsley Dome' AR app from  Apple and Google Play to access the AR content of the stories in public places of Huyton Village Centre. 

• Become a part of the project and keep the story going! Each AR experience concludes with an anonymous survey where you can share your own vision for the future.
